Ken Yoo brings over 20 years of experience in the risk management, compliance, ERM, housing finance, consulting and regulatory oversight and has a proven track record of building and enhancing risk frameworks and teams at major financial institutions. Prior to joining Falcon Capital Advisors, he held senior and executive-level roles at various financial institutions and served as the Chief Risk Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, where he was instrumental in establishing Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta’s ERM program, risk policies, risk appetite framework, risk assessment process, stress testing methodology and risk analytical tools and models. Ken’s other risk management experience includes work at Capital One, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (now the Federal Housing Finance Agency) and BearingPoint, Inc.
Ken attained a Master’s degree from George Washington University in International Affairs (Finance) and a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech. He has also completed the Advanced Risk Management certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Ken has served as a board member of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) and as a member of the Risk Management Association (RMA) ERM Council. He resides in Fairfax, VA.
