As a Senior Consultant, Colin Cushman brings over 15 years of successful government, business, and consulting experience managing all aspects of housing finance, mortgage lending, and risk analytics. Prior to consulting, Colin was the CEO of a mortgage originator, servicer, and Ginnie Mae (HMBS) Issuer at Generation Mortgage Company. Colin served as the Director of Portfolio Analysis at the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) where he was responsible for developing valuation models to support product development, premium pricing, risk management, and operations of both single-family and multifamily programs.
Colin received his Master's degree in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with top of class honors for both his undergraduate and graduate course work. He was accepted into two prestigious fellowships: the David L. Boren International Graduate Fellowship and the Howard Hughes Fellowship. His achievements also include speaking at the White House round table on retirement planning, sitting on the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) Board of Directors, and the NRMLA Distinguished Service Award.
